Founder & Managing Director, Fredrik Hartmann

The idea of creating Norway's premier luxury clothing brand emerged as early as 2016. After four years and several months spent traveling to find factories, some of which also house the world's largest fashion houses, Hartlino was founded. Established in 2020 by the visionary duo, Fredrik Hartmann and Marcus Sylte Linaae. 

Hartlino specializes in crafting high-end fashion using the world's most precious and rare raw materials. Our design process begins in Norway, where we design our products before they come to life in our longstanding family-owned factories with a rich heritage passed down through generations.

At Hartlino, we blend cutting-edge techniques with a deep commitment to maintaining the natural essence of each raw material. This ensures that we achieve the highest level of performance from our materials, resulting in products that represent true luxury. 

In 2022, we faced an unimaginable loss with the passing of our Co-founder, Marcus Sylte Linaae. He was a visionary and a dear friend. We will honor his memory by carrying forward his vision for Hartlino into the future.

We take the utmost care in selecting our factories, materials, fabrics, and partners. Each step of our production process is subject to the highest degree of due diligence and careful consideration to ensure that we meet our core value of providing sustainable clothing.
