The Craftsmanship

Each hide is tanned and finished in specialized tanneries across Italy. The process is slow and deliberate: the hide is tanned, dyed and brushed to a fine, even nap, passing through many skilled hands before its final inspection. The finished Satin Calf Suede is just 0.6–0.8 mm thick, supple enough to drape almost like cloth, yet strong enough to hold the shape of a tailored jacket.

Caring for Satin Calf Suede

Brush gently with a soft suede brush after wearing, following the direction of the nap. Keep it out of heavy rain, and if it gets wet, blot it dry and let it dry naturally, away from heat. Store it on a wide hanger in a breathable cotton bag. With a little care, Satin Calf Suede keeps its depth of colour for many years.
