From Oslo to Italy
The HARTLINO products are crafted in family-owned factories in Italy, where craftsmanship has been passed down through generations.
We select rare raw materials and work them only as much as necessary to preserve their natural character.

The idea
Every product starts with an idea, often long before the first line is drawn.

The drawing
Each product is designed in Oslo, from the first sketch to the smallest detail.

The details
We then decide every detail, from the hardware and lining to buttons and other accessories, to elevate each product.

The prototype
The drawings are sent to Italy with our construction notes in both English and Italian, where the factory cuts and sews the first prototype using a specially developed sampling fabric.

The fitting
We fit the prototype, adjust it and fit it again, until it’s perfect.

The sample
Once the fit is precise, a final sample is made with our selected precious materials.

The production
The final production is carefully crafted by skilled artisans in the same factory where it was first developed.

Quality control
Each finished piece is carefully inspected by a dedicated quality control specialist before leaving the factory.
